Thrill-seeking, boredom and retaliation were among the reasons an Arizona firefighter said he set seven recent fires.
Karson Nutter, 18, who has been linked to eight recent fires in the Ash Fork area, admitted to seven of them, according to Fox 10.
The four structure and four wildfires occurred between June 15 and July 20.
The Yavapai County Sheriff's Office said they grew suspicious of Nutter due to his "deceptive and misleading" statements. During his interview, he gave the reasons for setting the fires.
Two fires had been set at the Mobile Station in Ash Fork and another two fires were set at the Ash Fork Cemetery.
Additionally, Nutter allegedly burned down two abandoned homes in Kaibab Estates West. He reportedly said he set them on fire because he thought they were 'ugly.'
